It’s official! BC Place is about to get a retractable roof. We’ll speak with Vancouver Whitecaps president Bob Lenarduzzi, whose team will become tenants of the Dome.

Our Los Angeles-based correspondent Sam Bernstein will join us and discuss the decision by the California Supreme Court to allow gay marriage.

Tokyo Police Club plays the second of their two shows tonight at The Plaza Nightclub. We’ll speak with singer and bassist Dave Monks about their phenomenal success.

We’ll have our usual Friday afternoon chat with Metro Newspaper columnist Catherine Barr for our segment, “What’s New, Pussycat”. Catherine will tell us about the big events around the city this week.

We’ll be joined in studio by Juno Award-winning singer /songwriter Jully Black.

We’ll introduce you to our colleague, Benjamin the Butler from our sister station, The Beat 94.5
